Since there aren’t enough sweet treats for Halloween already, why not make this easy Halloween fudge? It’s one of my favorite Halloween dessert recipes — made with just a few simple ingredients, you can whip it up quickly.
With Halloween right around the corner, I wanted a fun, simple recipe the kids can help with. This colorful fudge is based on a classic microwave fudge method that uses sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips as the base. For a festive look, use white chocolate, semi-sweet chocolate and colored candy melts.

How do you make easy Halloween fudge?
Gather and measure all ingredients before you start so you can work quickly. You’ll need:
- sweetened condensed milk
- white chocolate chips
- semi-sweet chocolate chips
- blue candy melts
- orange food coloring
- sprinkles
- candy eyes
- Reese’s pieces

1. Line an 8×8 pan with aluminum foil and spray with nonstick spray. In a microwave-safe bowl, combine about 1/3 of the can (100 mL) of condensed milk with the semi-sweet chocolate chips. Microwave on high for 30–40 seconds, remove and stir until smooth. Press this dark chocolate layer into the bottom of the prepared pan and chill while you make the remaining colors.
Pro tip: work quickly—once condensed milk and chocolate are melted together they begin to set fast. Spread each melted mixture into the pan right away.

2. In two clean bowls, combine another 1/3 of the condensed milk with the white chocolate chips, and the final 1/3 with the blue candy melts. If you want an orange section, prepare a fourth bowl and have orange food coloring ready.
3. Microwave each mixture in turn for 30–40 seconds, stirring until smooth. Take half of the melted white chocolate and place it into the spare bowl, then add a drop or two of orange food coloring and stir immediately to combine.
4. Remove the pan from the fridge. Spoon the colored mixtures over the dark chocolate base in dollops. Use the back of a spoon to gently spread and swirl the colors to create a marbled, spooky effect.
5. Top the fudge with sprinkles, candy eyes and Reese’s pieces, pressing them lightly so they adhere. Chill the pan in the fridge for at least 4 hours, or preferably overnight, until fully set.
6. Lift the chilled fudge from the pan using the foil handles, transfer to a cutting board and cut into 36 squares. Store the pieces in an airtight container in the fridge.

Can you use other colors of chocolate for the fudge?
Absolutely. Colored candy melts are an easy way to create different looks. You can also keep it classic with just dark and white chocolate. Maintain roughly a 1/3 can (100 mL) condensed milk to 1 cup chocolate ratio for each color to keep the texture consistent.
Can you make this Halloween fudge vegan or dairy free?
Yes. Use sweetened condensed coconut milk and vegan chocolate or candy melts. Keep the same condensed milk to chocolate ratios for best results; the texture should be very similar.

Do you have to use the microwave for this fudge?
No — you can melt the chocolate and condensed milk together in a small pot over low heat. If you plan to use multiple colors, have separate small pots or work in quick succession, stirring constantly to prevent scorching.
